When to Plant Azaleas in Virginia?
Azaleas are best planted in early spring or fall, with early spring a recommendation for those who live in colder regions.
Fall offers several benefits to the plants and their growers since you won’t need to water as often and the incoming cold will give azaleas time to grow more roots and have them spread underground.

How to Plant Azaleas in Virginia
